Most artists who become famous before marrying tend to keep their maiden name professionally even after tying-the-knot.
Not Lily Allen though (or should we say Cooper) she’s revealed that she’s come out of retirement and has returned to the studio under a new professional name; Lily Rose Cooper.
The singer – who’s pregnant with her second child – announced her name change today and has also said she’s “excited” about making music again. She said:
'It's great to work at my own pace, with no commitments other than to make music. I'm excited to be heading back into the studio.'
There are no set release dates for her new work but we doubt we'll be hearing anything from her anytime soon. Boo.
