We wondered how long it would be until Lauren Goodger spoke about her latest squeeze Tom Pearce and luckily we didn’t have to wait too long.
The TOWIE star has opened up about how she is finally starting to move on from her first love Mark Wright who she dated for pretty much ten years.
She also reveals that she’s feeling sexier than ever which may just have something to do with her new lad Tom.
Speaking to Closer, she said: 'I’ll love Mark for the rest of my life and I'll never forget sharing so much with him, but I’m moving on.
'I've kissed someone else for the first time since Mark! I’ve been quite nervous, but I’m enjoying it.'
Hang on, is she saying that Tom is the only person she has kissed since Mark? Wow and it was shared with all of us on TV, aren’t we lucky?
She gushed: 'Tom is a really nice guy. I'm getting to know him and it's early days, but we fancy each other.'
Despite them both ‘fancying each other’, she insists that they haven’t enjoyed sexy time yet.
'We went on a date, then he dropped me home. We've been out clubbing. Nothing’s happened!
'Yeah, he stayed over till the early hours once, but my friends were there too. We kissed, but there’s been nothing as in sex – not yet!'
She continued: 'At the end of the day, I’m an adult and I’m finally ready to take the next step and sleep with someone new. I need to move on and there’s nothing wrong with that.'
Ok, we get it, she is over Mark and is ready to move on although we do find it slightly odd that she added this: 'I’m surprised he hasn’t been in touch in the last couple of weeks but, deep down, I’m sure he just wants me to be happy.'
Hmm, yes we’re sure that’s what he wants too.
