Guests like Jamie Laings Candy Kitten products so much they steal them

Last night was a big night for Jamie Laing as he opened his first Candy Kitten’s shop on the King’s Road (ok it was a pop-up one but it’s still big).

Anyway, as well as there being a fair few of the Made In Chelsea gang there, there were also other guests who seemed to get a bit confused about what was on offer.

Despite the fact there were cocktails and cupcakes to enjoy, guests decided to help themselves to whatever else they could really.

According to reports a whole table of stationary, phone cases and memorabilia went missing which led Jamie to get security to check everyone’s bags as they came in and out the store.

Apparently one party goer had helped themselves to some of his clothing range, well four tops to be precise.

The ever-smiley Jamie didn’t seem to bothered though and gushed about his newly selected Candy Kittens and the s tore: “This is like my baby and I’m watching my baby take its first steps. It’s like when a baby goes, ‘Dada’.

“The Candy Kittens are cute aren’t they? We had like 700 people organised and I was like, ‘Who do I really like? I like you, I like you, I like you’.”

Just in case you were worried the girls were picked on their looks, he disagrees, saying: “Candy Kittens are sexy, they’re fun, they’re desirable, they’re cute, they’re girl next door. They’re like Elisa Cuthbert, Mila Kunis, Kate Hudson.

“They’re just fun girls and they’re girls that would eat a snail and not care, hold worms, good fun girls, you know what I mean?”

Oh yes ‘good fun girls’, how very quaint and not in the least bit sexist.
