How to Remix Your Favorite Outfits Like Kate Middleton

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge on on May 29, 2012 and May 18, 2012.

So nice, she wears it twice! That seems to be the MO of Duchess Kate, who, over the past few months, has reworn several of her favorite wardrobe pieces for high-profile events.

"Kate is clearly becoming more bold and confident with her fashion choices as she evolves," StyleHaul style influencer Nikki Pennie, who has worked with the duchess and her sister, Pippa Middleton, tells Us Weekly of the royal's recycled outfits.

Below, Pennie predicts how Kate can keep her look fresh and stylish should she wear these statement pieces a third time around.

Look 1: Pink Emilia Wickstead Dress

Kate first stepped out in the pleated pale-pink number on May 18, then resurfaced in it -- with a matching Jane Corbett hat -- for a Buckingham Palace tea party on May 29.

"The hat gives the dress an edge and a bit of va-va-voom! If she recycled this again, she could wear her hair in a fabulous u pdo complemented by statement vintage diamond earrings and a fun unique clutch," Pennie muses.

Look 2: Blue M Missoni Coatdress

Kate coordinated with the Duchess of Cornwall and Queen Elizabeth II, who both donned different shades of blue, during a public event on March 1. Two months later, she paired it with a cocktail hat by Rachel Trevor-Morgan for one of the queen's Diamond Jubilee events.

"Kate is very playful with her headpieces and these really alter each loo k, keeping it fresh and young but still a modern-day princess," says Pennie. "If she wore this coat again, she could pair it with cream or blush pink accessories. Or, she could wear the coat as a jacket instead of a dress coat over a simple dress, which would give it a whole different look."

Look 3: White Alexander McQueen Coatdress

A newly married Kate debuted this tailored piece just weeks after she and Prince William tied the knot. For her grand return to the Buckingham Palace balc ony (where she and William shared two wedding day kisses), Kate chose a black netted hat. A year later, the coatdress made a second appearance at Windsor Castle June 18.

"The first look with the black mesh headpiece is quite opulent and dramatic; the second, more demure and subtle," Pennie says. "Next time I would suggest red or jewel-toned accessorizes, which would add a fabulous pop against the white. Or, she could wear her hair up with no headpiece."
