Though you wouldn’t know it from his face as he strolled through West London earlier, Louis Tomlinson was extremely ecstatic.
Or at least we assume he was, because as he took in the sights of the area (or more like tried to make out what the sights were, as apparently he was a bit lost) it was being announced that the singer and his band have been nominated for two MTV Video Awards, and what’s more – they’re going to perform at the ceremony too.
The boys have been nominated in the ‘Best Pop Video’ and ‘Best New Artist’ categories.
They face tough competition in the video category for their “What Makes You Beautiful” offering from the likes of Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend” and Rihanna’s “We Found Love”
And they’ll also be up against The Wanted, Carly Rae Jepsen and Frank Ocean& nbsp;for The Best Artist Award.
Whether they win a gong on the night or not, Harry seems pretty excited about the prospect of performing at the event anyway saying:
"It's a big occasion to perform at the VMAs, and we're here for our fans. So this one's for our fans."
Yes and we’re sure it won’t hurt their public profile either.
