Do Coleen Rooney, Cheryl Cole and Kate Middleton's Eyebrows Reveal Where They Live?

Do Coleen Rooney, Cheryl Cole and Kate Middleton's Eyebrows Reveal Where They Live? | Grazia Beauty

You’ve heard about the makeup map, now it’s all about the brow map.  According to Debenhams, you can now tell where a woman lives before she opens her mouth, just by looking at the shape of her brows!

Thanks to the number of brow bars that have popped up in the last couple of years and the plethora of brow products now available, ‘regional brow trends’ are now identifiable, with signature shapes defining the region you live in.

So we’re all familiar with the ‘Scouse Brow’ - dark, defined and thick, championed by the likes of Coleen Rooney, but there are new brows in town too.

Londoners are sporting the ‘South Brow’, which has a Royal fan in Kate Middleton. They are still thick like the Scouse but are more natural in tone and shape - think Keira Knightley, for example.

Meanwhile, ‘op North in Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds, sa les for eyebrow wax and dark brow pencils have increased two fold.

Then there’s the ‘Tadpole brow’, favoured by Irish ladies who spend the least on brow products apparently, and can be identified as thick and round at the inner corners, with a thin arch and rest of brow.

In the Midlands, they’re sporting the ‘Happy Brow’. Think an upside down smile, small and semi-circle in shape, like Birmingham’s prettiest advocate Cat Deeley.

Sara Stern, Beauty Director at Debenhams says: ‘The number of women adopting signature brows for their region is so high, it’s like having a brow-o-meter-you can instantly guess where they are from’.

So forget your accent, does your brow reveal your region? From Welsh lass Catherine Zeta Jones to Geordie beauty Cheryl Cole, check out the gallery above to see if celeb brows speak louder th an words...
