Wondering where Stacey Solomon has been and what she’s been up to? No, neither have we – actually we’d completely forgotten about her.
So in order to remind us all of her existence Stacey Solomon has decided to do something, and bizarrely that something is starring in a new sitcom about her life.
The former X Factor star is set to film a tester episode of a “Curb Your Enthusiasm” style show which will follow the singer’s day-to-day life in Dagenham, or rather a semi-fictionalised version of the singer’s life (those of you who have watched Curb Your Enthusiasm, which is brilliant by the way, will know what we mean).
Impressionists Phil Cornwell and Ronni Ancona are going to play her parents in the project and its all being scripted by Rob Colley and Dan Gaster, who have previously worked on the Graham Norton show and Mock The Week respectivel y. An inside source has blabbed today:
“It’s going to be a busy one for the singer, she plans to bring out her debut album in the autumn.
“There’s a lot of excitement about this project. It’s not just another reality TV show, there’s a brilliant production team behind it. There’s strong interest from ITV.”
This will either be the best thing we’ve ever seen or the worst, there’s going to be no in between.
